Welcome to the WebMaster's Toolkit CDROM!

This CDROM contains everything to quickly create or improve your
web pages in a matter of minutes. Use the included graphics,
html editors, Java source code and applet, html conversion
utilities, CGI Perl scripts and web server software to create
and improve your web site.

Here is a list of some important files and directories:

SETUP.EXE This is to set up Microsoft Internet Explorer

START.HTM This is the starting point of the CDROM, simply OPEN START.HTM in the FILE menu of Internet Explorer or other Web Browser.

utils\win\winzip31 WinZip for Windows 3.1. Permits you to uncompress ZIP files.

utils\win\winzip95 WinZip for Windows 95, Windows NT, and Win32s. Permits you to uncompress ZIP files.

Quick Start Instructions:

MSDOS Quick Start:
This CDROM will NOT WORK with MSDOS computers.

Windows 3.1/NT:
Run setup.exe from the cdrom. This will install Internet Explorer on your computer. If you already have a Web Broswer installed on you computer. Simply Open the file called start.htm on the cdrom on the cdrom or double click on the start.htm file to activate your Web Browser.

Windows 95: Run setup.exe from the cdrom. This will install Internet Explorer on your computer. If you already have a Web Broswer installed on you computer. Simply Open the file called start.htm on the cdrom on the cdrom or double click on the start.htm file to activate your Web Browser.

Macintosh: Install Internet Explorer which is located in the MAC folder on the the cdrom. If you already have a Web Broswer installed on you computer. Simply Open the file called start.htm on the cdrom or double click on the start.htm file to activate your Web Browser.

Unix: You will need your own Web Broswer for your computer. Simply Open the file called start.htm on the cdrom to begin.

For example, in Internet Explorer:

1) Choose File/Open File
2) Browse to your CDROM Drive
3) Select the start.htm file
4) Click on OK

Shareware

This disk contains many shareware programs and images. Shareware can be considered to be a sort of try before you buy system where you are expected to pay the program author a registration fee if you find the program or image useful. You will find details of registration included in the document/text files provided with each program.
